Denise has been in Government/Non-Profit accounting for 20+ years. She started at Dakota Valley School District in North Sioux City, SD as a Business Manager. She spent 6+ years as the Finance Officer for the City of Worthing, in Worthing, SD. Denise also spent 13+ years at the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls, in Sioux Falls, SD where she worked as the Parish Review/ Accounting Coordinator.

She attended Mount Marty College where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Later on she received her certification as a School Business Manager from the State of South Dakota and also the first W.O. Farber Center Legacy of Leadership Award from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. The award is to recognize students, teachers, citizens, and state leaders of South Dakota for their work in civic leadership.

Denise currently resides in Worthing, SD with her husband and her 2 fur babies. She has 2 grown children. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, reading books, and playing with her dogs.
