The Lennox Area Development Corporation (LADC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting commercial, industrial, and residential growth in our community. Meetings of the LADC Board of Directors are held on the second Thursday of every month in Lennox City Hall and are open to the public.
The LADC promotes helps businesses of all sizes who are looking to relocate, expand, or start up in Lennox. The organization also assists homebuilders who are interested in in-fill development and residents seeking to rehab their properties. Past LADC projects include the creation of the Lennox Development Park, home to Wilson Trailer and Sioux Steel, and the establishment of the Countryside Housing TIF District.
Sioux Metro Growth Alliance
The City of Lennox is a member of the Sioux Metro Growth Alliance (SMGA), a regional economic development organization that promotes business growth and quality of life improvements in fifteen member communities across the greater Sioux Falls area. SMGA Economic Development Specialist Ryan Solberg works directly with the LADC to help execute their economic development strategy.
