This month's Park Board meeting will look slightly different; with the beautiful weather the Board will being doing a Park walk through instead of meeting at City Hall. April 2026 Lennox City Council Meetings will be on the 13th and 27th at 7pm at City Hall (107  S Main St Lennox)
On April 7th, Lincoln County Highway Department will be closing the intersection of CR105 (466th Ave) and CR116 (276th St) for the construction of a roundabout. Tentatively, this intersection will be closed until mid to late August. Please follow the designated detour routes.

As it gets nicer out we wanted to remind you to register your golf cart! If you have done this previous years then you do not need to get another one!! Our golf cart permits are valid for as long as you have the golf cart.

Register your Golf Cart: Stop in to City Hall with a copy of your insurance, picture of the slow moving sign (orange triangle) and the $35 permit fee. Golf Cart Permits are valid for as long  as you have that golf cart. City Hall Hours are Mon-Thurs. 7:30am-5:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-noon
Please note that there a couple upcoming dates that City Hall and our other City Offices will be closed for the declared administrative days.

It's spring clean-up season so we thought we'd share a Rubble Site Reminder post! Incase you were thinking you needed a rubble site pass - the good news is, you don't as long as you live in city limits.

Other useful info about our Rubble Site:
All accepted and prohibited materials, as well as directions on where to dump specific items are clearly posted at the Restricted Use Facility. The property is under 24 hour surveillance. All illegally dumped items are investigated, and all evidence is turned over to Lennox PD.

The Rubble Site is operated under a strict permit from SDDANR and is open to all Lennox residents free of charge 365 days a year. Contractors who specialize in tree removal and other heavy-use businesses and individuals are required to have a permit which can be purchased at Lennox City Hall and is valid for one year from date of purchase. Driver’s License and license plate info of vehicle/s being used for disposal are required.

Accepted materials: Yard waste including grass clippings, leaves, garden waste.

Trees, branches, as well as construction lumber which contains NO chemicals.

Prohibited materials: Plywood, OSB, green treated lumber or lumber with paint, stain, or varnish.

No plastic, rubber, glass or any other non-biodegradable materials allowed.

If grass clippings or any other waste is collected in plastic container/garbage bags, it MUST BE REMOVED prior to disposal.

Rubble Site Reminder: Our rubble site is free for City of Lennox Residents. Accepted Materials include: grass clippings, leaves, garden waste, trees, sticks, and untreated construction lumber. The rubble site is under video surveilance to record license plates, any illegally dumped items are investigated  by the Lennox Police Dept. Follow the isntructions posted on the signs at the Rubble Site

IMPORTANT COUNCIL ELECTION DATES: July 3 is the first day for a candidate to sign the declaration of candidacy and begin the petition circulation Aug. 25 is the deadline for a candidate to file nominating petitions or to withdraw their name from the ballot Sept. 18 is the first day of absentee voting Oct. 19 is the deadline for voter registration to be eligible to vote this year Nov. 3 is Election day (more info to come later in the year)
